Foreman app settings

What your crews may do on their phones — see past jobs, decline a schedule, skip the ETA text, share their location, and ask for time off.

Settings › Crew › Foreman app decides what your crews may do in the Mover's Portal on their phones. What a foreman sees day to day is in What the foreman sees.

Before you start

Anyone who can open Settings can change this page. Nothing is saved until you press Save (the footer counts your changes). A switch you never set shows what the crew's phone does today.

The switches

Decline ScheduleForeman can decline scheduleThe crew sees DECLINE next to CONFIRM on a schedule. Off, they can only confirm.
Foreman can skip customer ETA SMSCan foreman skip customer ETA SMS? (No / Yes)The ETA screen offers Continue without notifying, so the foreman can go en route without texting the customer.
Crew locationThe crew must share their phone's location to open their jobsThe phone must share its location before the job opens.
Time off requestsMovers can ask for time offMovers ask for a day, or part of one, from the Tracker, and the office answers. Off, the Mover's Portal hides it.

Movers can ask for time off starts off for every company until you switch it on.

What happens next

The crew's phones follow the new settings the next time they load a screen. See Confirm or decline a schedule, Send the ETA text and go En Route and Time off requests.

If something goes wrong

With Movers can ask for time off off, a mover who still tries gets Your company does not take time-off requests in the app. Please call the office.

If a card reads that the setting isn't there for your company, contact support.
