Connections (review sites)

Connect the sites your customers review you on — Google, Facebook, Yelp, Nextdoor, BBB, Angi and Thumbtack — one tile each.

Settings › Reputation › Connections shows every review site as a tile: its logo, its name and a dot that says where it stands.

  • ● Connected (green) — the site is connected for this branch.
  • ● Link added (green) — the branch's review page on a site with no connection (Nextdoor, BBB, Angi, Thumbtack).
  • ● Not connected (grey) — nothing set yet. This is how every site starts: nothing changes until you connect it.
  • ● 1 page disconnected (red) — the site stopped accepting the connection (a password changed, or MoveBoard's access was removed). Open it and sign in again.
  • Waiting for Google's approval / Waiting for Facebook's approval — the site is still reviewing MoveBoard's access; there is nothing to press yet.

With several branches, pick the branch with the buttons on top: each branch connects its own sites.

Click a tile to connect or manage that site. Admins and people who may manage reviews can change it; everyone else sees the page only.

Google

Sign in with Google and pick the branch's Business Profile location. Reviews come in every few minutes and you (or the AI) reply from Reputation › Reviews. See Connect Google Business Profile.

Facebook

  1. Click Facebook, then Connect with Facebook, and sign in with the Facebook account that manages the branch's Page. Leave every permission ticked.
  2. Back in MoveBoard, tick the branch's Page and press Connect Page.

The Page's recommendations come into Reputation › Reviews and count like any review — matched to the job and crew, in the competition and the bonus. A recommendation counts as 5 stars, "doesn't recommend" as 1 star. Replies written in MoveBoard (by you or the AI) are posted on Facebook as your Page. MoveBoard checks Facebook every 30 minutes; Check now checks right away. Disconnect stops new reviews and removes MoveBoard's access at Facebook; the reviews already in MoveBoard stay.

> Facebook has stopped letting apps read Page recommendations for newer apps. If the Facebook card says so, add your Facebook reviews by hand (Add a review) and reply on Facebook.

Yelp

Click Yelp, paste the link of your Yelp page (open your business on yelp.com and copy the address — it has /biz/ in it) and press Connect.

The card shows your Yelp rating and review count (checked twice a day), and Show newest reviews shows Yelp's three newest reviews, shortened. Yelp doesn't let other apps reply or keep its reviews, so they are not copied into Reputation › Reviews: press Read and reply on Yelp to answer one, and add it by hand if it should count for the crew.

Nextdoor, BBB, Angi and Thumbtack

These sites don't let other apps read their reviews. Paste the branch's review page on the site and press Save — it must be a link on that site (for example bbb.org for BBB). The link shows under the tabs of Reputation › Reviews (Your review sites), so the office opens the page in one click. Add their reviews by hand (Add a review) so they count for the crew. Remove link takes it off; reviews you added stay.
