Settings › Communication › Automation timeline sends a template a set time after something happens — a follow-up three days after a quote, a reminder the day before the move.
Before you start
Anyone who can open Settings can change it. Every change saves at once — a choice when you pick it, a number when you leave its box.
A line of the timeline
Each line reads: the template's switch (Template on), the Automation rule, the order statuses (Select statuses), after Number of units Time unit → the template. Under it, Recurring and Apply To: Move types, Services, Estimate types (empty means all).
Add or remove
- Add new configuration opens a form: pick the rule, when it sends, the template and the orders it applies to, then save.
- Delete configuration removes a line after asking.
If something goes wrong
The line goes back and a note says why: Cannot update automation rule configuration, Cannot delete automation rule configuration or Cannot update template.
