What it fixes
The day before Bill of Lading, and the day after.
Paper bills come back torn, coffee-stained, or missing the customer's signature.
The customer signs every time on the phone, in order, and a missing signature stops the submit.
The office retypes the hours and the boxes for the invoice and for payroll.
Submitting the bill works out the job's closing and the crew's payroll from what was signed.
The crew and the customer argue at the end about the lunch break and the elevator wait.
Time Off comes off the labor time, and a yellow box shows the bill before the customer signs.

01 / Times and signatures
Times the customer signs, in order.
The foreman picks the start time and the customer signs under it, then the end time and another signature. Or your company counts hours with a Start button that runs a timer. Signatures go top to bottom, a signed time can't be changed, and each signature moves the job along: Loading, On The Way, Unloading.

Boxes, Packing and Unpacking each have a tab: set the quantity, or press Add item and tap one from your company's list. Additional Services work the same way, and fees that come from the inventory, like a piano, are already there. The cost breakdown reprices at once, with the discount and the fuel surcharge.

Paid at the door, and signed for.
PAY opens three steps: a tip of 10, 15, 20 or 25% or a custom amount, the payment amount (the balance plus the tip, or part of it), then how the customer pays. Credit Online charges a card on file or a new card through your Stripe or Authorize.net account; Cash, Check and your own payment types are there too. The customer signs for the payment and gets the receipt automatically.

One press, and the job is done.
Press SUBMIT CONTRACT, or let the customer's last signature submit it, as your company chooses. Every required signature and document has to be signed first. The bill locks, the job turns Completed on the Dispatch board, the signed bill is filed on the order and emailed to the customer, and the closing and payroll are worked out.
- No signal? The changes and the submit wait on the phone and go in order
- Comments about the move, up to 1,000 characters
- A storage day waits for the storage agreement's signature

See the bill as the foreman does.
On the Dispatch board, point at a job's crew strip and open its Bill of Lading, or the green icons for what the crew has recorded: Inspections, Foreman Notes, Release Forms, Storage Agreement and Change Orders. The bill opens in a Foreman Page window, the foreman's own screen, so the office can check it or help.
- Icons appear only once there's something in them
- What you change in the window is saved on the job
- Whether a reopened bill can be changed again is your setting

06 / Long distance
Pickup and delivery, on one federal bill.
For long-distance jobs, choose your own bill or MoveBoard's federal long-distance bill of lading. At pickup the crew records the services, the signed valuation choice and the weight ticket: tare and gross, the net worked out, and a photo of the ticket. At delivery the charges are re-rated on the net weight, and the bill shows what to collect now and what's billed later.

Each change saves a moment after it's made, and waits on the phone in order when there's no signal.
Does the eBOL work offline?
Yes. Every change on the bill (times, signatures, materials, services, the submit) is kept on the phone first and sent in order when the signal is back, and today's jobs are saved so they open with no signal. A card payment and a long-distance submit need signal.
Can customers get a copy of the signed eBOL?
Yes. Once the bill is submitted, the signed bill of lading is filed on the order and sent to the customer automatically. The payment receipt reaches them too.
Is the electronic signature legally valid?
The customer signs on the phone's screen, and each signature is saved on the bill with the time it was signed. Once submitted, the bill is locked and the signed copy is filed. Electronic signatures are generally recognised under the federal ESIGN Act; check your own state's rules for your documents.
How does auto-calculation work for hourly jobs?
The labor time comes from the signed start and end times (or the timer), less any Time Off, at the order's rates. Materials, services, other fees, the discount, the fuel surcharge and taxes are added in the cost breakdown, and a yellow box shows the estimated total before the customer signs.
What if an employer or relocation company is paying?
With Send to pay on, the foreman taps Send to pay beside PAY and the payer gets a text and an email with a link to the bill of lading. They tip the crew if they like, confirm with their name and signature and pay by card, and the bill shows Paid remotely by them at once.
Can the foreman take a card payment on site?
Yes. PAY on the bill charges a card on file or a new card through your Stripe or Authorize.net account, or records cash, a check or your own payment types. The customer signs for it and gets the receipt.
Does it work for long-distance moves?
Yes. Pick your own bill or MoveBoard's federal long-distance bill of lading, with the weight ticket, re-weigh, valuation, the re-rate on the net weight, and separate pickup and delivery signatures.
Can the office see or fix a bill?
Yes. Open it from the job on the Dispatch board in a Foreman Page window. After it's submitted, the office reopens the job from the order's closing to change it.
