What it fixes

Each location runs its own copy of the software and nobody sees the whole.

Opening a new location means typing every price again.

One branch, two, or all of them.
Press the company name in the top bar and tick the branches you're working in. Search, the Orders list and the unread counts in the menu cover the ones ticked, and the search pop-up can look in other branches for one search. With more than one branch, New asks which branch the new order, lead, account or task is for.

02 / Add a branch
A new location, set up from the last one.
Settings › Company & branches › Branches lists every location with its office, where its trucks leave from, phone and contact. Add a branch with its name and address, then start fresh, copy all settings from another branch, or Advanced Copy only the categories you tick. Advanced copy works later, too.
- A new branch starts with none of the others' orders or customers

Different rights in each branch.
Tick the branches a person works in on their Details tab. Their permissions are set separately in each branch, so a manager can see every order in one and only their own in another. A record filed under a branch someone isn't in never opens for them, whatever their permissions.

04 / Managers and permissions
Managers run the team, you keep the keys.
Manage employees within the company lets a manager add people and look after their details, positions, branches, Active switch and pay. Can change employees' permissions, right under it, decides whether they may also change what people can do, their user type and their department. Give a branch manager the first and not the second, and they run their team without touching anyone's access. Users sits in the menu under their name, even without Settings.

05 / What each branch keeps
Its own name on everything it sends.
Each branch keeps its own prices and settings, templates, sending email and website address, its own RingCentral line and card processor, Stripe or Authorize.net, and its own line for putting the customer portal on its website. Trucks can show in more than one branch, so a quiet location can lend one to a busy one.

Things each branch keeps its own

How many branches can I manage in MoveBoard?
As many as your company runs. Each branch is a location under your one company, not a separate account, and each additional branch is $99 a month on the Enterprise plan.
Do I need separate subscriptions for each branch?
No. Multi-branch management is part of the Enterprise plan, and you manage every branch from one account with one sign-in. Enterprise includes one company; each additional branch is $99 a month.
Can branch managers only see their own location?
Yes. People work only in the branches they're put in, and a record filed under a branch someone isn't in never opens for them. Within a branch, their permissions decide what they see and do, and they can differ from branch to branch.
Which branch does a new order go to?
A new order stays in the branch it was made in, or the branch whose website form it came through. With more than one branch, the New button asks which branch a new order, lead, account or task is for.
Can I see all my branches at once?
Yes. Tick All in the top bar's Branches panel and search, the Orders list and the unread counts cover every branch you belong to. Reports have a Branch filter, too.
Can an employee have different permissions in different branches?
Yes. Permissions are kept per branch: switch to a branch, open the person, and set what they can do there. Administrators hold every permission in every branch.
Can a manager add employees without changing their permissions?
Yes. Give them Manage employees within the company and leave Can change employees' permissions off. They add people and edit their details, positions, branches and pay; permissions, user type and department stay greyed for them.
Do managers over several branches see every branch's calls?
Yes. The Calls page, its Unheard count and the number in the menu cover every branch a person works in, each by the Calls permissions they hold in that branch.
Can two branches share a truck?
Yes. When you set up a truck you pick the branches it shows in, so one truck can serve more than one location without existing twice.
