Settings › Communication › Template folders (Template Organizer) sorts the templates your office picks from on an order.
Before you start
Anyone who can open Settings can change it. Only templates added to orders are listed — turn on Add to order templates on a template in Templates to list it here. Moving templates is saved when you press Save; folders are made, renamed and deleted at once.
Make, rename or delete a folder
- New folder (top right; there even before your company has its first folder) — type its name and press Create. The folder shows at once — empty, marked and scrolled to — here and in Templates, and it is in every template's Folder box straight away.
- The pencil on a folder renames it.
- The bin deletes it; its templates go to the Default folder. The Default folder cannot be deleted.
Sort them
- Show — all, email only or SMS only. Filter by name or subject finds a template.
- Each folder is a box, Folder name (count), holding its templates.
- Drag a template onto a folder to move it there, or onto another template to put it before that one. On a phone, use the Folder box on each row (Move to folder).
- The Folder box on each row is as wide as your longest folder name, so names are not cut off; point at it to see the folder's full name.
Press Save, or Cancel to put everything back.
