Settings › Sales & orders › Booked jobs overlap sets how long two booked or reserved jobs may overlap on the same truck. A job that would overlap more than this is refused. How the check works on the board and in the order window is in Booked jobs overlap rules.
Before you start
Anyone who can open Settings can change this page. Each move type has its own answer (one row per move type). Never set means None.
Set it
- Open Settings › Sales & orders › Booked jobs overlap.
- For each move type, choose None, 30 min, 1 h, 1.5 h, 2 h or 3 h.
- Press Save.
Where else it counts
The same allowance applies when a customer changes their own move and Expiration rules is set to Let them keep booking when their truck is still free: the changed job may run this far into another job on its truck and still stay bookable.
Example
With 1 h on Residential, a booked job 8 AM–12 PM and another booked job starting at 11 AM on the same truck is allowed (one hour shared). A job starting at 10:30 AM would share 1.5 hours and is refused.
If something goes wrong
If the save is refused, a red bar at the top says why.
