Settings › Pricing & calculator › Truck count answers one question for the calculator: how many trucks do we need based on total move size? The full explanation is in How many trucks.

Before you start

Anyone who can open Settings can change this page. It is kept per move type (pick it at the top). Nothing is saved until you press Save.

How it reads

One row per truck count, for example 2 TRUCKS when cubic feet more than 900. A move up to the first row's size takes one truck; above it two; above the next row three; and so on.

Change it

  • Type a new size right in a row's box.
  • Add opens a pop-up: pick the Number of Trucks (2 to 25, one row each) and its size. The size must sit above the next smaller count's size and below the next larger one's.
  • Edit opens a row in the pop-up; Delete removes it after a Warning.
  • Copy to other move types fills the other move types with this list (it asks first).

Press Save when done.

Good to know

  • The size is in your move unit (cubic feet or pounds), set on Company info.
  • The trucks a quote needs are priced with Additional Truck on Rates.
  • What each of your real trucks holds is set on Trucks, for dispatch.

If something goes wrong

Save refuses a size that isn't a whole number. With no row at all, the page says No truck count is set for this move type. — every quote then takes one truck.
