Settings › Pricing & calculator › Valuation is where you set up the protection your customers choose for their belongings. How Full Value Protection is priced, with an example, is in Valuation on the quote.

Before you start

Anyone who can open Settings can change this page. It is kept per move type (pick it at the top), and each has separate Hourly and Long Distance settings.

The cards

Show Valuation Protection On Account Page — what the customer can pick on their page: released value, Full Value Protection (and its three options, shown only while it's on), the third option. With Allow a customer to select… off, you write the words they read instead.

Valuation Titles — the names and explanations the customer reads.

Show Valuation Options — where the choice shows, for each service: Account Options (the customer's page) and Order For Service Options (the signed document), with All.

Dollars Per Pound (Full Value Protection) — the liability per pound of the move.

Valuation Plan — By percent, By fixed price or By rate, and its table: Amount of Valuation rows, a column per deductible, a cost in each cell. Add Row / Add Column; the × and the bin remove them.

Saving

• The table has its own Save table button.
• Everything else saves with the page's Save in the footer.
• Copy to other move types copies the plan tables at once.

Defaults for a new company

Full Value Protection on and shown on the order for service, customers allowed to choose it, $6 per pound ($10 in Canada), a ready plan table, and the third option off, titled "Third-party insurance".

Also used by

• The customer portal's valuation choice shows these plans.
• The bill of lading prints the protection the customer chose.
