Settings › Pricing & calculator › Test calculator prices a pretend move with your settings as they are right now. Use it after you change rates, the calendar, mover speed or fuel, before your team quotes with them. Nothing you type is saved, and no order is made. Tips are in Try a price with the test calculator.
Use it
- On the left (Test Calculator — A pretend move, priced with today's settings), fill in the move: Move type, Service Type, Estimate type, Move Date (and Desired Delivery Date for long distance), Origin Address Zip, To Address Zip, Size of Move, From Elevation / To Elevation, From Parking Distance / To Parking Distance, Packing and Unpacking.
- Press Calculate.
- The right side (Calculator Results — What this move would be quoted) shows the quote, line by line.
Fields that don't apply to the chosen service are hidden or greyed, as on a real order.
Good to know
- Changing the move type after filling the form asks first (a Warning), because the lists — services, sizes, stairs, parking — belong to the move type.
- Clear Form asks too.
- If the move can't be priced, the reason shows as a notice instead of a quote.
