Reservation & deposits
The page that sets what a customer pays to reserve their move — per kind of move and move type — and how it rises closer to the date.

Settings › Pricing & calculator › Reservation & deposits decides the Deposit row on every order — what the customer pays to book. Each rule is explained with examples in Deposit rules.
Before you start
Anyone who can open Settings can change this page. It is kept per move type (pick it at the top). Nothing is saved until you press Save; Copy to other move types fills the others and waits for Save.
The cards
Reservation/Deposit
- Hourly Moves — hours of labor, or a dollar amount.
- Flat Rate Moves and Long Distance Moves — a percent of the max quote, or a dollar amount.
The box in use is live; the other is greyed until you click it (which switches to it and sets it to 0).
How it is charged
- Charge Reservation Price Per Truck.
- Charge the reservation on the first day only (multi-day moves) — on: one deposit for the first day; off: every day asks its own.
Closer to the move
- Hours before the move date — when the higher deposit starts.
- The reservation price goes up by — a $ Flat Fee (added) or % Of Max Quote (sets the deposit to that share; 100% asks for the whole quote). Never more than the max quote.
- Closer to the move, a percent raise takes — The first day's quote (a new company's default) or The whole move's quote.
Use Reserved Status when Reservation Payment Received from Company Order Window is shown greyed: This functionality is coming soon.
