Settings › Long distance › Regions tariff prices long distance by route: from your state (or a region you define) to each state, region or area code, each route with its own price.

Before you start

Anyone who can open Settings can change this page. It is kept per move type (pick it at the top). There is no Save button — each change saves as you make it. To use it, choose Regions Tariff on Method.

Tariff settings

For every route of this move type:

  • Default Charge Unit — Cu/Ft or Lbs: what a route's minimum and price per unit count.
  • Accepts all quotes.

Periods

Seasons with their own tariffs. All Year to begin with; Create/Edit Periods adds a period with a Period Name, start and end day and month, and optionally Adjust prices based on period (Increasing / Decreasing by an Adjustment amount). Deleting a period asks first: All related tariffs will be removed too.

Pick a route

  1. From — a state or region (your branch's state to begin with).
  2. To — click a state on the map (Canada and the US territories are chips under it), or Select State or Region on Map. A filled state already has an active route in this period.
  3. Create/Edit Regions groups states into a region (Region Name, States in this region).

The route's tariff

Switch on Active State/Region (the first time, this makes the tariff), then fill in — each box saves when you leave it:

  • Business Days for Delivery and its Delivery Days Tooltip (on Account Page).
  • The minimum size and minimum price.
  • The price per unit — or Set price per area code.
  • Large shipment discounts — this route's own, or the Global Discounts (set in Create/Edit Global Discounts): Set discount by a flat amount or per unit, then For Shipment Size Above N, give a discount of / reduce by $M.
  • Base zip code (Use base zip code).
  • Copy to the reverse route — Setting copied successfully to reverse route.

Copy to other move types copies this move type's tariffs, regions, periods and discounts over the others, after asking.

If something goes wrong

A refused value stays in its box with the reason under the form — for example Price is a required field, or business days of 0.
