Settings › Pricing & calculator › Rates is the price list behind every hourly quote. The full explanation — the five price levels, how bigger crews are priced, worked examples — is in Hourly rates and price levels.
Before you start
Anyone who can open Settings can change rates. Rates are kept per move type — pick it at the top. Nothing is saved until you press Save.
What's on the page
Labor hourly rates — a row per price level (Discount, Regular, Sub-Peak, Peak, High-Peak), a column per crew (1 Mover + no Truck … 4 Movers + Truck, Additional Movers, Additional Truck).
- Rename (the pencil) gives a level your own name — it shows on the price calendar and the customer's calendar. Keep / Cancel finish the rename.
- The switch beside a level takes it out of the price calendar's menu and the customer's legend.
Same Rates for Travel Time — on, the travel grid follows the labor grid (Following the labor rates.) and can't be typed in.
Travel hourly rates — what the time on the road costs an hour at each price level, when it differs from labor.
Copy to other move types puts this move type's grids on the others (it asks first); press Save to keep it.
Where the rate is used
The move date's price level (from the Price calendar) picks the row; the order's crew and trucks pick the column. New quotes use new rates at once. Try a change with the Test calculator before your team quotes with it.
If something goes wrong
Save refuses a box that doesn't hold a rate (letters, for example) and says which.
