Crew Size & Minimums

Settings › Pricing & calculator › Crew Size & Minimums sets how many movers a quote starts with and the least time you bill. The rules and examples are in How many movers.

Before you start

Anyone who can open Settings can change this page. It is kept per move type (pick it at the top). Nothing is saved until you press Save.

The cards

Minimum Requirements — Set the minimum crew size and billable hours required for a move.

• Minimum Movers — 1 to 4.
• Minimum Hours — None or 1 to 5. A day on the price calendar with its own minimum hours overrides this for moves on that day.
• Include Travel Time in Minimum Hours — travel counts towards the minimum. It can't be on while the minimum is None.

Single-item move — A job of one normal item can go out with a smaller crew than the minimum, for every channel: the office, the online forms and the AI receptionist.

• Single-item move on or off, Single-item movers, Single-item minimum hours, and Items that still count (items that are never "single" because they need a full crew).

Crew Size Rules — Automatically increase the required crew size based on job size and property conditions.

• One line per bigger crew: so many movers when the job is bigger than a size, or bigger than another size and a stop has at least a given entrance.

Copy to other move types asks first (the entrance choice is not copied) and waits for Save.

If something goes wrong

Save refuses a size box that doesn't hold a number, and refuses Include Travel Time in Minimum Hours while Minimum Hours is None.
