Settings › Sales & orders › Additional services is your list of extras — piano, hot tub, hoisting, a second trip… The office adds them to an order with Additional Services in Quote Details, and the foreman can add them on the bill of lading. See Materials and additional services.

Before you start

Anyone who can open Settings can change the list. It is kept per move type (pick it at the top), with two lists in each: Local Move and Long Distance (the Move kind switch). Changes save at once, including deletes.

Add or change a service

  1. Press Add service (or Edit on a row). The pop-up is Add new Service or Edit: ….
  2. Name — what the order and the customer see.
  3. Under Parameters: - Price Caption — the word shown beside the price (for example "per hour" or "flat"). - Default — the price a new line starts with. - Read Only — the price is fixed: it is greyed on the order and can't be typed over.
  4. Under Quantity: - Enabled — the line has a quantity. - Quantity Caption — the word beside it (for example "flights" or "pieces"). - Default — the quantity a new line starts with. - Read Only — the quantity can't be changed on the order.
  5. Press Save.

Delete asks first (Warning › Yes, Delete).

Copy to other move types replaces the other move types' services (both lists) with copies of these, at once.

A salesperson's commission can include or leave out additional services — that is set on the person's commission rules in Users.

If something goes wrong

The pop-up names the field to fix before it saves. If a delete or copy can't be done, a red bar says why and nothing else changes.
