Materials and additional services on a quote

Add materials

1. 1In the order's Quote Details, press Materials.
2. 2On the MATERIALS tab, your company's materials are listed on the right — press one to add it (Click to Add). Press Add a material to type one that isn't on your list.
3. 3On each line, set the Qty and, if needed, the Unit cost. The Line total follows.
4. 4Press Save, then SAVE on the order.

The footer shows the Total: materials plus the estimated packing. The Materials row in Quote Details shows the same total, with the packing amount named beside it.

The PACKING SERVICE tab sets how much packing the crew is expected to do — see Packing and unpacking prices.

Add additional services

1. 1Press Additional Services in Quote Details.
2. 2Press a service from your list, or Add a service to type one.
3. 3Set the price and quantity on each line.
4. 4Press Save, then SAVE on the order.

Services that come from the inventory (for example a piano fee your item library adds) show a mark: From the inventory: changes when the item is added or removed there. Change them in the inventory, not here.

A line needs a name — otherwise Item is a required field.

Turn other fees on or off

Other Fees lists the fees on the day (for example a fuel or long-carry fee your company adds). Switch each one on or off, then Save and SAVE.

Set up your lists

• Settings › Sales & orders › Packing materials — your materials and prices, Prices shown, and Show in Contract Page (whether the material appears on the bill of lading for the crew to add). Each material can also have our cost, which the job's profit uses.
• Settings › Sales & orders › Additional services — per move type, for local and long-distance moves: each service's Name, Price Caption, Default price, whether the price is Read Only, and the quantity (Enabled, Quantity Caption, Default quantity, Read Only).

Copy to other move types gives the other move types the same list.
