On this page
MoveBoard's quote forms put a moving calculator on your own website. A visitor fills in their move, and a new lead lands in MoveBoard with everything they typed — priced by the same calculator your office uses.
The forms
Three forms, all set up in Settings › Website & forms › Quote forms:
- Short — a few steps: the move, then the customer's details.
- Long — more questions (size, rooms, entrances, parking) for a sharper quote.
- Single page — everything on one page.
Each ends on the Thank-you page. You can reword any text, switch optional fields off or make them required, and change the colours — see the forms designer for details. Changes are live on your website as soon as you save.
What the visitor can choose
Only what your company offers online: the move types you accept, the services marked to show to customers, your sizes and rooms, entrances and parking distances shown to customers, your arrival windows, and the price calendar's days. No prices or rates are ever sent to the visitor's browser — the price is worked out by MoveBoard.
Does the visitor see a price?
That depends on Settings › Customer experience › Quote display, in its Forms column: for each move type and service you decide whether the form shows a price. Where it doesn't, the visitor is told you'll be in touch with their quote. See Hiding the price from customers.
What lands in MoveBoard
A new lead with the customer, the move date, the addresses, the size and the service, priced and assigned by your lead assignment rules. Its source is your website. The customer gets your new-lead messages, and their portal link.
