After you change rates, crew rules or travel time, check the result before a customer sees it. The test calculator prices a pretend move exactly as a real order would be priced, with today's settings.
Use it
- Go to Settings › Pricing & calculator › Test calculator.
- Under Test Calculator, fill in the move: - Move type and Service Type - Move Date (and Desired Delivery Date for long-distance services) - Origin Address Zip and To Address Zip - Size of Move and Rooms - From Elevation / To Elevation and From Parking Distance / To Parking Distance - Packing and Unpacking, and the Estimate type where it applies
- Press Calculate.
Calculator Results shows what this move would be quoted: crew, trucks, rate, hours, travel and the total.
The fields shown change with the service, just like on a real order. If the move can't be priced, MoveBoard tells you why.
Good to know
- Nothing is saved. No order, no customer — you can try as many moves as you like.
- Changing the Move type after filling the form asks first, because the lists (services, sizes, stairs, parking) belong to the move type.
- Clear Form starts again (it asks first).
