Quote Details card
Every line of the price — deposit, charges, fees, discount, taxes, total, payments and balance — and how to change each one.

Quote Details is the price of the order. It recalculates the moment you change anything in the order — the same calculation MoveBoard uses when it saves, so what you see is what gets saved.
The green Calculator on label in the corner is a reminder that the calculator always runs. It works out labor, crew and price from the inventory and the move.
The Deposit row
At the top:
- Deposit — the amount your deposit rules ask for. Type another figure to use your own; clear the box to go back to the rules. See How the deposit amount is set.
- $… paid — appears once a deposit has been paid.
- Text link — on a Can Book Online order, texts the customer their link to book and pay. See Text the deposit link.
- Signed or Not signed — whether the customer has signed the Order for Service. Hover over Signed to see who signed and when.
The charges
Blue labels open a small pop-up to change that line; grey labels are only to read.

| Moving Charge (or Labor Charge and Travel Time Charge) | Hours × rate. Long-distance days show Linehaul Charge instead. |
| Fuel Surcharge | Your company's fuel rule, a percent or a flat amount. Changing it needs permission — without it you see You don't have a permission to edit this field. |
| Valuation | The protection the customer chose. See Valuation on the quote. |
| Storage | Storage charges on this move. |
| Materials | Boxes and packing materials, picked from your list. |
| Additional Services | Extra services such as piano or hoisting. |
| Other Fees | Your other fees, on or off for this order — including the Additional stop fee when the move has extra stops. See Extra stop fees. |
| Discount | Money or percentage off. See Promotions and discounts. |
| Taxes | The tax rates on labor, travel, linehaul, packing materials and the order total. |
| Credit Card Fees, Cash Discounts, Custom Fees | Appear only when the day has them. |
A pop-up only stages your change — every figure on the card follows at once, and the order's SAVE writes it.
The totals
- Grand Total — moving charge, fuel, valuation, storage, materials, services and fees, less the discount, plus taxes. It's a range (for example $1,200 – $1,450) when labor time is a range.
- Payment — what has been paid. Press it to open the Payments window.
- Balance — what's still owed.
- Not To Exceed (…%) — shown when the order has a not-to-exceed percentage. See Not-to-exceed prices.
Multi-day moves
Each day has its own Quote Details. Choose All on the day strip to see the order's totals; the rows are read-only there.
When the card is greyed out
- The day's job has started, so the sales price is locked — the crew's real figures go in the closing. See The closing view.
- The day is completed.
- You opened the order read-only.
