Where it is
In the strip under the order's top bar, the Inventory button. Once the order has items, it turns blue and shows the cubic feet underneath (for example 610 cu ft).
A red number on the button means the inventory has special items — things your company marked as special in its item library, such as a piano or a safe. Press the number to see them, by room.
Edit the inventory
- Press Inventory. The inventory opens full-screen inside the order window.
- Rooms are on the left. Pick a room, then press an item in the middle to add it. Its count becomes a drop-down on the row.
- In this move, on the right, lists everything picked, by room.
- Press SUBMIT.
SUBMIT saves the whole inventory as a new version and re-prices the move. It's the same editor the customer uses on their portal. If you close with items not submitted, MoveBoard asks first.
When the customer sends their inventory
If the customer submits their inventory while you have the order open, an Inventory updated pop-up appears straight away. It says who sent it and what changed — items added and removed, the cubic feet before and after, and the quote before and after.
- With no unsaved changes, the window refreshes onto the new figures.
- With unsaved changes, MoveBoard asks before refreshing — your edits stay on top.
A lead (for example New or Follow Up) moves to New-Info so sales see the change; other New statuses, and Reserved, Booked, Postponed or Completed orders, keep their status. See Send the inventory link to ask the customer for it.
Ask the customer for it
Request inventory, next to CuFt/Lbs on the Order card, sends the customer their inventory link by email and text.
