Quote forms

Settings › Website & forms › Quote forms is where you shape the quote forms on your website — the forms that turn visitors into leads — and put them on your site.

Before you start

Anyone who can open Settings can change the forms. Saves go live on your website at once — the footer warns Changes not saved — Save puts them live on your website.

The tabs beside the title: Short, Long, Single page, Thank-you, Settings, Floating menu and Install.

Design a form (Short, Long, Single page, Thank-you)

The tab shows the real form in a frame. Use Step to see every step with sample data, and switch between Desktop and Phone.

Click anything on the form:

• Words — reword it, for every form or This form only. Reset to default brings MoveBoard's words back. Find words on this form searches them.
• Field — for an optional field: Shown on the form or Switched off, Required, and Move up on its step / Move down on its step. Some fields are Always on; they say why.
• Color — change that colour.

The Theme panel holds the rest of the look: Brand (headings, buttons, links and text in your client portal's colours), Colors, Font, Corners, Form width, Website background (On a white page / On a dark page), Your logo over the form, Side panels (on wide screens), Show errors, and Powered by MoveBoard.

Undo takes back the last change, even one already saved (then save again). Press Save: Saved. It is live on your website now.

Settings tab

• Default service — Use a default service (The form starts on this service) or No default service (The form asks the customer which service they need); Use the same for all move types or one per move type.
• Inventory on the quote form — Display the inventory option on the online quote form; Inventory is required on the online quote form is Coming later.
• After a quote is sent — Your own thank-you page (blank: MoveBoard's automatic one), Back link on the thank-you page, and where The customer account opens in.
• Spam protection and texting consent — Quote limit per visitor, the Hidden spam trap, and the Texting consent line (shown when texting is on, with your privacy and terms links).
• Tracking and website code — the same boxes as Tracking and Styles & scripts.

The Settings tab has its own Save.

Install tab — put the forms on your website

1. 1Add MoveBoard to your website — copy the one line (Copy the MoveBoard line) and paste it at the end of every page (or your site's footer code).
2. 2Put a form where you want it — paste a form's tag where it should appear; it fills the tag's width. Or link a button to a pop-up address and the form opens on the same page.
3. 3Test my website — type the Page to test; MoveBoard opens it the way a visitor's browser does and looks for its code.

Guides for website builders give the exact steps for WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and Webflow. If your site already has an integration.js line, leave it — it keeps working and loads these forms — or replace it with the MoveBoard line; never keep both.
