Email header & footer
The header and footer every email template is sent with — your logo and banner at the top, your address, phone, licenses and social links at the bottom.

Settings › Communication › Header & footer sets what goes around every email you send.
Before you start
Anyone who can open Settings can change it. Nothing is saved until you press Save.
The two parts
- Default header — Shown at the top of every email template — your logo, a banner, a line of words.
- Default footer — Shown at the bottom of every email template — your address, phone, license numbers, social links.
Each is written in the visual editor. Your Company logo and your company's details (name, phone, email) show with their real values while you edit and in How an email looks — exactly as they go out. A company with no logo yet sees a gray Your logo box where it will go.
See it
How an email looks shows a sample email with your header and footer, as on a desktop, a laptop, a tablet or a phone.
What happens next
Saved, the header and footer go round every email template — existing and new — whenever it's previewed or sent. Nothing is copied into the templates, so one change updates them all.
They become part of the email itself: when an email has a main box (most do — a white card in the middle of a colored page), the header is that box's first row and the footer its last, exactly as wide as the email, on its background and inside its rounded corners, with no gap. Pictures shrink with the email on a phone. An email without such a box gets them full width above and below it.
A single template can use its own header and footer instead — from Header & footer in the template's editor. See Email and text templates.
