Interstate

Settings › Long distance › Interstate covers moves that leave your state or province.

Before you start

Anyone who can open Settings can change this page. It is kept per move type (pick it at the top). Nothing is saved until you press Save.

The fields

• Interstate Distance Settings — on or off for this move type. Turning it on and saving also turns on your Long Distance Interstate Move service (Settings › Services › Company Services) when it is off, so orders can pick it. If the switch is on but that service is off, the page says so in a yellow line — press Turn it on.
• Default Estimate Type — Flat Rate, Binding or Non-Binding.
• Interstate distance when distance from … to — the range, in miles (or km). The from box also sets where intrastate ends.

A move that crosses a state line can be made interstate however short it is — that switch, Switch to interstate if crossing state lines, is on Local moves.

A changed field shows a gold changed tag; press it to put that field back. Copy to other move types fills the others and waits for Save.

Warnings and refusals

• Warning: the interstate min setting on this page of … leaves a … mile gap between the intrastate move max … (or has a … mile overlap).
• Distance(from) cannot be bigger than distance(to)
