Overnight charges
The page that sets what an overnight move charges — the first night, each further night, per truck or once per order — and the most nights allowed.

An overnight move is loaded one day and delivered on a later day, with the goods kept on your truck in between. Settings › Pricing & calculator › Overnight charges sets what those nights cost. How the nights are counted, with an example, is in Overnight moves.
Before you start
Anyone who can open Settings can change this page. It is kept per move type (pick it at the top). Nothing is saved until you press Save.
The fields (Overnight Setting)
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Default Estimate Type | Flat Rate, Binding or Non-Binding for an overnight move. |
| Apply Charge | Per Truck (each night's charge times the trucks) or Only Once Per Order. |
| Max Days Overnight | The most nights (1 to 15) the office may book; going over shows a warning on the order. |
| Overnight Rate (Overnight Truck Rate when charged per truck) | The first night ($/1st night). |
| Additional Overnight Fee | Each further night ($/addt'l night). |
A changed field shows a gold changed tag; press it to put that field back. Copy to other move types fills the others (it asks first) and waits for Save.
What happens next
New overnight orders use the new charges. Orders that already exist keep theirs until their dates change.
