Settings › Documents & bill of lading › Estimate & order for service holds the documents a customer signs: an estimate signature, and the Order for Service that books the move. How customers sign them is in The order for service.

Before you start

Anyone who can open Settings can change this page. Nothing is saved until you press Save under the document.

Pick the kind

Estimate signatures | Order for service at the top switches between the two kinds.

The documents

Your documents are listed on the left — Add estimate or Add order for service under the list. For the chosen document:

  • Name and Enabled.
  • Edit block — the words, with the order's details placed in them.
  • Block settings — what it's for: By move type, By service type, By estimate type, Multi Day (single or multi-day moves), and Show on confirmation page / Don't show on confirmation page.
  • The document itself is shown below, as the customer will read it.

The new design

An Order for Service document can switch to MoveBoard's current design: Use the new design previews it, and applying it replaces this document's words and layout — the current version is kept, and Restore previous puts it back. Already using it means it's in place.

Saving a change customers may already have

When you change an Order for Service, Save asks who the new words are for:

  • Every order not yet signed, or
  • Only the orders that come after (unsigned orders keep the words they have).

Signed orders always keep the words they were signed with.

The Order for Service quotes your Policies. Your own extra documents (a damage waiver, a stairs release) are made on Custom documents.
