Taxes
The page that sets tax on labor, travel, long-distance linehaul, packing materials, or the whole order, per move type.

Settings › Pricing & calculator › Taxes sets the tax MoveBoard adds to quotes. What each rate is charged on, and the order taxes, discounts and valuation are applied in, is in Taxes.
Before you start
Anyone who can open Settings can change this page. It is kept per move type (pick it at the top). Nothing is saved until you press Save.
The five rates
Type each as a percent (8.25 means 8.25%):
- Labor Hourly Tax
- Travel Hourly Tax
- Long Distance Linehaul Tax
- Packing Materials Tax
- Order Total Tax — taxes everything on the quote. While it's above zero the other four are greyed and not charged.
A changed field shows a gold changed tag; press it to put that field back. Copy to other move types gives the others the same rates (it asks first); press Save to keep them.
What happens next
New quotes use the new rates. One order's tax can be changed on the order — see Taxes.
