Settings › Company & branches › Order routing is for companies with more than one branch. It lists your branches and holds the company's answers about which branch a new order belongs to.
Before you start
Anyone who can open Settings can change this page. There is no Save button: every switch and choice here is saved the moment you change it.
The Branches card
One line per branch (a branch under the main one is shown indented), with its Company ID, Identifier, Web url, Type (Physical for the main branch, Virtual for the others), Base state, Parking zip and Status.
- Route to current branch — Orders will appear in the branch they were created and/or submitted to. The switch is greyed for a branch that is not active.
- Add new branch, Edit and Delete take you to Branches, where branches are managed.
All branches routing settings
One answer for the whole company — a choice here is saved at once to every live branch.
- The way to route an order: By shortest mile distance to origin, By shortest mile distance to destination, By shortest distance to origin and destination or By shortest travel time.
- Use form rates from branch.
If something goes wrong
If a change can't be saved, the switch or choice goes back to what it was and a red bar says why — for example That is not a way of routing orders.
