Your crews work from the Mover's Portal on their phones. Knowing what they see helps you set them up and answer their calls.
Who sees what
| Person | Sees |
|---|---|
| Foreman (by position, or made foreman on a crew) | Home with today's counts and jobs, Jobs, Tracker, and every job screen |
| Driver and Helper | Home and Tracker — their days and start times, and time off. No jobs. |
| On a long-distance trip | A Trips tab with the trip's stops and expenses |
| Also works in the office | The office in the menu |
Crew positions can't open the office. An owner or salesperson who signs in at the Mover's Portal is sent to the office.
Before confirming a day, a crew member sees only the day and Start At — not the truck or who else is on the crew.
A foreman's day on the phone
- CONFIRM the day (see Confirm or decline a schedule).
- Open the job: Job Details, the office's notes, then EN ROUTE, which texts the customer the ETA first.
- ARRIVED at the door, then the job screen's tiles: the Bill of Lading (times, signatures, materials, payment), inspections, notes, release forms, change orders, storage agreement.
- Submit the bill — the job is Completed and the customer gets the signed copy.
What reaches the crew from the office
- Notes ticked Foreman on the order — under Office Notes on Job Details.
- Pictures attached to the order with Show to Foreman on BOL — the Job Photos tile.
- Texts about their crews and jobs — see Texts the crew gets.
Settings that change the crew's phone
Settings › Crew › Foreman app:
| Setting | When on |
|---|---|
| Foreman can view past jobs | Foremen see a Past tab of finished jobs. |
| Foreman can decline schedule | DECLINE next to CONFIRM. |
| Foreman can skip customer ETA SMS | Continue without notifying on the ETA screen. |
| Crew location | The foreman's phone must share its location to open jobs. |
| Movers can ask for time off | Ask for time off on the Tracker. |
The bill of lading itself follows Settings › Documents & bill of lading (bill of lading, rules, payments, release form, change orders).
See it as the foreman does
From the Dispatch board, open a job's Bill of Lading or the Foreman Page icon in Assign Personnel; from a completed order's closing, open the crew's pages. They open in a Foreman Page window — see Open the bill of lading from Dispatch. What you change there is saved on the job.
Setting up a crew member
Add the person under Settings › Users & permissions › Users with their position (Foreman, Driver or Helper), a mobile number for texts, and a login. They sign in with your Company ID, their username and password — see Sign in to the Mover's Portal.
