Storage agreement on site

A move that goes into storage needs the customer's storage agreement: the space, the monthly rate and how they'll pay. The foreman has it signed on site.

Turn on Coming to Storage

The Storage Agreement tile opens only when the goods go into storage today.

1. 1On the job screen, find the Storage Agreement tile.
2. 2Switch on Coming to Storage (on the tile, or on the bill of lading if it has the switch).

While it's off, the tile is greyed and may say Turn on Coming to Storage on BOL to use. If the customer's storage is on a different day of the move, it says Storage exists for this customer on a different day. A job with no storage at all shows the tile greyed with Storage jobs.

Have it signed

1. 1Press Storage Agreement.
2. 2Fill in what the agreement asks for — the storage space, the rental rate (only if you're allowed to change storage pricing; the total with tax shows beside it), and the payment authorization tick.
3. 3If the agreement asks for a card, press Add Payment on File (or Change Payment on File), type the card and press Save card.
4. 4The customer signs each signature in order, top to bottom. An earlier required signature that's missing is scrolled to and outlined.
5. 5The signature that leaves none unsigned submits the agreement — or press Submit once every signature is given. When your company submits by signatures, the last one asks first: Once this signature is signed, the contract will be completed and closed.

Why it matters for the bill

On a storage day, the bill of lading's last labor signature waits until the storage agreement is signed. Sign the agreement first, then finish the bill — see Submit the bill of lading.

Once signed, the tile turns green and the office sees a green Storage Agreement icon on the job's card on the Dispatch board.

What your company decides

• The agreement's words and fields — Settings › Storage › Storage agreement.
• Whether a card must be on file before it can be signed — Settings › Storage › Storage payments. With it on, signing is refused with Default payment method is required until a card is saved.

If something goes wrong

• There is no storage agreement on this job. / No storage agreement is set up for this job.
• Still needed: … — the signatures named are missing.
• The storage agreement could not be submitted. Please try again.
• The signature could not be saved. Please try again.
• The card could not be saved.
