Before a long-distance trip, the office may give the driver a cash advance for fuel, tolls and hotels on the road. The Mover's Portal shows it on the trip.
See your advance
- Press Trips and open the trip.
- Under Expenses, Advance given to you shows the total advanced to you for this trip.
It shows only when there is an advance. If your trip has one driver and the office didn't name who got an advance, it's counted as yours.
Record what you spend from it
- Under Expenses, press Add.
- Pick What for and type the Amount.
- Under Paid with, pick My advance.
- Add a Note if useful, press Photo of the receipt, and press Save.
Use Company card for what you put on the company's card, and My own money for what you paid yourself — so the office can pay you back.
Where it goes
Your expenses and receipts go to the office with the trip. The office squares the advance against what you spent when it settles the trip.
You see only your own advance and expenses — never the trip's other figures.
