Order for Service on site

Check what the customer agreed to before you start — the signed order for service, or the terms and the deposit still owed if nothing's signed yet.

The order for service is what the customer signed when they booked: the move, the price terms and your company's policies. On site you can open it to check what was agreed before the work starts.

Open it

  1. On the job screen, press the Order for Service tile. A green edge and a number mean the customer has signed it.
  2. Read it.

When the customer has signed

You see the document the customer signed, as they saw it — your company's header, the order number, ORDER OF SERVICE FOR the customer, the move date, arrival window and move details. If they signed more than one, each is a tab named after its template.

The small icon at the right end of the Back row opens the signed copy itself, with when it was signed.

When nothing is signed yet

You see a preview of what the customer will be asked to agree to:

  • the order-for-service documents, as the customer will see them;
  • the line agreeing to your company's Company Policies and Cancellation Policy — press each to read it in a window;
  • the deposit still owed, if any.

If your company has no order for service set up for this order, it says Nothing to show yet — There is no order for service on this order.

When the job changes on site

If the customer adds items or services, or the job turns out different from the estimate, write a change order and have the customer sign it — see Write a change order.

After the job

Once the bill of lading is submitted, the job screen's Completion & the customer's copy says whether a signed order for service is on file.
