Breaks on the job
Take time off the bill for a lunch or a wait with Time Off — it comes off the labor time until the bill is paid or submitted.

- For foremen
When the crew stops work — a lunch break, waiting for an elevator, the customer asking you to hold — take that time off the bill so the customer isn't charged for it.
Take time off
- Open the Bill of Lading tile.
- In the labor block, find Time Off:.
- Pick how long: from 00:00 up to three hours, in 15-minute steps (or the steps your company's timer uses).
The labor time and the bill's totals change straight away.
Where Time Off sits
- With one start and end for the job, Time Off: is between the start signature and the end time.
- When the customer signs at every address, each address but the last has its own Time Off: under its box.
With the timer
If your company counts hours with the Start button, you can also Pause the timer during a break and press Start again after — the paused time isn't counted. Time Off: still works for time you forgot to pause.
When it locks
You can change Time Off: until the bill is paid or the contract is submitted (also on a job the office reopened). The customer's signatures don't lock it.
Where the office sees it
The time off shows on the order's job tracker (Time off) and in the crew status log on the Dispatch board, next to the actual labor time.
