- Checked against MoveBoard
- For dispatchers, owners & admins
A trip opens in its own window, like an order: you can have several open, and put them away in the bar along the bottom. Press a trip's row on the Trip Planner to open it.
The buttons along the top
- Add Orders — opens the order picker on the Orders tab.
- Optimize Route — finds a better order for the stops; it asks before changing anything. See Optimize the route.
- Send Itinerary — texts and emails the itinerary to the trip's drivers.
- Mark Scheduled, Start Trip, Complete Trip, Mark Settled — move the trip on. See Trip statuses.
Saving
Everything you type is a draft. Nothing is written until you press SAVE, and SAVE appears only when something really changed. Buttons that act at once — Start Trip, Complete Trip, Send Itinerary, a stop marked done, a delay record — ask you to save first (Save the changes first), so they act on the trip you see.
The capacity bars, route totals, spreads, money and warnings are worked out from your draft as you type.
The tabs
| Tab | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Overview | The trip's name, dates and notes, its Needs Attention warnings, and the money. Once the truck has left: progress ("6 of 11 stops"), the current and next stop, and Arrived / Done / Skip for each stop. A completed trip shows its summary. |
| Orders | Each order on the trip: from → to, pickup, delivery spread, pounds, cubic feet, money, storage-in-transit badge, carriers and agents. Tick Exclusive use, reserve space, or split an order between trucks or across trips. See Split a shipment. |
| Route & Stops | The itinerary day by day. Drag the six-dot handle (or use the arrows) to reorder; add overnight, fuel, scale or warehouse stops; switch between Map and Itinerary. Miles and drive times are measured when you save; Miles by state feeds IFTA. |

| Capacity | A bar for each truck and trailer, cu ft and lb, each order's share, and a step chart along the stops. The Load plan shows linear feet or vaults. See Capacity and load plan. |
| Crew & Equipment | Trucks and trailers (each with its own capacity), drivers, co-driver and crew; clashes with other trips and daily jobs as warnings; the planned driving per day. See Hours of service alerts. |
| Expenses | Estimated and actual costs with receipts, driver advances, and the margin. Only for Can see trip profit and settlements. |
| Documents | Every order's files — bills of lading, orders for service, weight tickets, photos — plus the trip sheet. See Print the trip sheet. |
| Activity | The trip's log — who did what, when — and the messages and notices sent about its orders. |
| Settlement | What each driver and crew member earns. Only for Can see trip profit and settlements. See Driver settlement. |
