Customer portal
The customer's moves and Home page
What a customer sees when they sign in — their current and past moves, the button to request a new move, and the Home page of each move with its progress, status and cards.

- For sales, owners & admins
This is what your customer sees in their portal. The words below are MoveBoard's standard ones — your company can change most of them in the client portal designer.
Their moves
After signing in, a customer lands on Quotes History — Welcome (name), here are your moves:
- Current Moves — from today on.
- Past Moves — before today.
Each move shows its date, order number, status, service, size and the from/to addresses; View opens it.
Request a new move lets a returning customer ask for another quote themselves: the type of service, the Move date, the size and the addresses, then Get my quote. The new quote is added to their account at once and opens, and it arrives in your Orders list like any new lead.
The Home page of a move
The top reads Welcome (name), your move is booked (or your date is available, your date is reserved, here is your move). Then, depending on your settings:
- Progress — four steps: Quote, Inventory, Reserve, Book.
- Contact — who you have on file, with Edit.
- A loud booking banner when the move can be booked — see Book your move.
- Move Details — date and Change date, arrival window, order ID, size, crew, trucks, rates, times.
- Move Status — the status and Next Step:, with buttons for what's next (book, view the signed order for service, sign the bill of lading, view change orders).
- Quote Details — the price. See Quote details.
- Addresses, Inventory, Add-On Services (protection plan and packing), and your own custom blocks.
The side menu has Home, My Inventory, Messages, Notes, Files, FAQ, My Invoices, My Storage, Receipts and the rest your company switches on.
What each status says
| Status | The customer reads |
|---|---|
| New, Follow Up | Pending — you're checking availability; please send a detailed inventory |
| Can Book Online | Can Book Online — you're available; book, sign and pay the deposit |
| Reserved | Reserved — deposit received; sign the order for service to confirm |
| Booked | Booked — confirmed and scheduled |
| Booked, every day closed out | Completed |
| Expired, We Are Not Available | Please contact us about availability |
| Postponed, Cancelled, Not Interested | What it means, and to contact you |
Bad leads and archived orders don't show in the portal at all.
