Customers can change a lot of their move themselves — no need to send you a new request. Each part can be switched off in the client portal designer.

Every pop-up keeps what they typed if they close it without saving — Not saved yet — your changes stay here if you close this.

Their email can't be changed by them — the office changes it on the Customer card.

When it's locked

Once the move is Reserved, Booked or Postponed, the date, details, addresses and inventory are read-only, with for example: Addresses cannot be updated because your job is currently booked. Please contact your moving specialist to discuss your changes. They can still tell you about a certificate of insurance or the building's hours.

A part switched off in the designer shows without an Edit button, or says Your moving company handles date changes for you — please contact them.

What happens on your side

  • The change is saved on the order straight away and the price is worked out again.
  • The Order Log records what the customer changed.
  • Your team hears Customer changed their move (if they have it on) — changes made together come as one message.
  • The status may change, as set under After a customer changes their move in Settings › Sales & orders › Expiration rules: send it to New-Info for the office to check, let them keep booking when their truck is still free, or always let them keep booking.

Not interested any more

When your company shows it, No longer interested in moving? lets the customer pick a reason (and add a few words) and Confirm. The order moves to Not Interested, and their reason and words go on the order as a note for sales. See When a customer says "not interested".

Expired moves

An Expired or We Are Not Available move can't be booked from the portal. Home tells the customer to contact you about availability.
