When a customer says "not interested"

Let customers tell you from their portal that they're no longer moving — with a reason you can read on the order.

A customer who has decided not to move can tell you so from their portal, instead of ignoring your calls. You get the reason in their own words, and the order stops chasing them.

What the customer sees

At the foot of their portal's home page: No Longer Interested in Moving? They pick a reason from your list, write a few words in Tell us a little more, and press Confirm. They see Thank you for letting us know.

Both a reason and a comment (at least three characters) are needed.

What happens in MoveBoard

  1. A note goes on the order for sales, for example: "Jane Smith is no longer interested in moving. Reason: Found a different company. Comments: …"
  2. The order's status changes to Not Interested. It counts as a lost lead — see Lost leads and why.
  3. The Order Log shows the change was made by the customer.

The note is written first, so you always learn why — even if the status change itself couldn't be made.

Turn it on and choose the reasons

  1. Go to Settings › Customer experience › Not interested button.
  2. Pick the move type tab (for example Residential).
  3. Switch on Allow Not interested and press Save.
  4. Under Reasons, add the reasons a customer can pick — for example "Not moving" or "Found a different company". Drag to put them in order.

Reasons, their order and deletions save straight away. The switch waits for Save.

Copy to other move types gives the other move types the same switch and copies of these reasons.

If the customer can't use it

If the button isn't offered for their move, the portal tells them: Please contact your moving specialist to cancel your request.
