Lead score
How MoveBoard scores a lead from what the customer does, where to read the score, and how to set the points.

The lead score tells you which leads are most interested right now. Every time a customer does something — opens your email, signs in to their portal, changes their inventory — their lead earns points. Busy leads turn Warm, then Hot.
Only what the customer does counts. Working the order yourself doesn't change the number, and points never go down.
Where you see it
- On the Orders list — the Score column shows each lead's score in its colour (point at the heading to read what it is). Press the Score heading to sort the busiest leads to the top.
- Cold, Warm and Hot buttons in the list's toolbar show only the leads in that band.
- In the order window — the score sits in the counters at the top, coloured by band. Hover it to read "Warm lead · score 120", for example.
The score updates by itself while you watch — no refresh needed.
See why a lead scored
- Open the order.
- Press the score at the top of the window.
The Lead Score pop-up opens. The tiles show how much contact there has been: Calls Made, Emails Sent, SMS Sent, Messages Sent, SMS Received and Messages Received (counting only messages a person sent, not automatic ones).
Press the Score Factor row to see every action that earned points, newest first, with its date and time and how many points it added.
Set the points
Go to Settings › Sales & orders › Lead scoring.
- Enable Lead Scoring turns scoring on or off for the company. Off, the Score column and the score in the window disappear, and no points are added.
- Under Lead Temperature, set when a lead turns WARM and when it turns HOT. Every new lead starts COLD, at 0 points.
- Under Customer actions, type the points each action earns. Switch an action off to stop it counting.
- Press Save. Until then the footer counts your changes not saved.
The actions you can score include: Opens an email you sent, Signs in to their customer portal, Changes their move details, Changes an address, Adds an extra stop, Sends you a message in the portal, Texts you, Changes their inventory, Picks valuation (insurance), Adds packing, Uploads a file, Opens their order for service, Opens an invoice, Pays an invoice, Adds another contact person, Adds another phone number, Asks for special handling, Lists special items and Asks for a certificate of insurance (COI).
Points go to the order the customer was working on. Changing the settings doesn't rescore old activity — new points follow the new values.
If something goes wrong
- "Use a whole number, zero or more." — points and thresholds are whole numbers.
- "Maximum scores - 4 signs" — the most is 9999.
