Booking & payments
Your own payment types
Add ways to pay that MoveBoard doesn't have built in — Venmo, Zelle, Clover — each with its own fee and bill of lading switch.

Besides card, cash, check and credit record, you can add your own payment types — for example Venmo, Zelle or a Clover terminal.
Add one
- Go to Settings › Payments & billing › Payment & processing fees.
- Under Custom Payment Methods, press + Add Payment Method.
- In New Custom Payment, type the Payment name and switch on Enabled.
- Save the pop-up. The payment type is made straight away, with its own processing fee row (named "{name} Processing Fee", off, 0%).
Set its options
For each payment type:
- Enabled — whether it's offered.
- Show on BOL — whether the crew can take it on the bill of lading.
- Its processing fee: Processing Fee Name, Amount and whether the fee is on.
Press Save for these changes. To remove a type, press the bin and confirm (Are you sure you want to delete?).
Use it
In the order's Payments window, Create Charge shows a button for each enabled type next to Cash, Credit Record and Check. It records the payment with an Amount, Paid Date and notes — nothing is charged through MoveBoard. If the type has a fee, its switch shows and the fee is added, worked out on the amount including any tip.
Recording payments (cash, check, credit record and your own types) needs the permission to add a custom payment.
