The truck is busy
Sorry, the current truck is already scheduled for this time Spot is taken by booked order 1234 on Truck 1 — Thu, Oct 29, 1 PM. The truck is already taken by reserved order 1234 on Truck 1 — Thu, Oct 29, 1 PM.
The message names the order in the way, the truck, and the day and time of that job. Go to that day on the truck schedule to see it. Booked and reserved jobs never share a truck beyond your company's allowed overlap. Pick another truck or another time, or move the other job first. Quotes (New, Follow Up) can pile up on a truck until one books — then the others lose it. See Overlapping jobs on one truck.
A very long job (long distance)
A job holds its truck only on its own day, however many hours it runs. A long-distance day with 43 hours of driving holds the truck until midnight of that day — it never blocks the truck the next day. On the truck schedule its block runs to the end of the day with a runs 43 h › mark.
If you know the truck won't be back the next day, block it yourself with Block time (see Hold a truck without an order). A long-distance delivery with block dates still holds its truck for every day of its block.
The truck is off the road
One or more of the selected trucks are not available on … — the truck is marked unavailable that day (in the shop, for example). See The fleet calendar.
The truck is too small
This move's CuFt is larger than the amount of CuFt allotted for this truck. Please either select an alternate truck or change the truck count. — pick a bigger truck, or raise the order's truck count.
Please select the correct number of trucks for this order. — when your company dispatches trucks, the crew needs as many trucks as the quote.
The job is only reserved
Your job is in a reserved status. You cannot assign a crew until your job has been booked. — book the job first (the customer signs and pays the deposit, or the office books it). Trucks can be held on a reserved job; crews can't.
The crew is missing something
Please select foreman · Please select truck — the crew needs a foreman and a truck.
Holding a truck without a job
A truck cannot be held for more than 14 days. — hold it in shorter blocks. See Hold a truck without an order.
Truck Return Time must be after Truck Leave Time — swap the times.
The job is locked
This job is completed — reopen it to make changes. — or the job has started and the schedule is locked; change the truck on the Dispatch board. See I can't change a field.
Warnings, not refusals
MoveBoard also asks before going ahead when a person is already on another job at the same time, or a truck looks double-booked. You can go ahead after reading it. See Warnings: double-booked people and trucks.
