Ed, the assistant in MoveBoard, can text or email you a short report on a schedule — "every day at 5 PM, how many bookings I had today".
Ask for one
- Open Ed.
- Ask in your own words, for example: - Send me every day at 5 PM, by text and email, how many bookings I had today. - Every Monday at 8 AM email me last week's payments received and new leads.
- Ed shows a card with what it understood. Press Confirm to start it. Nothing is scheduled until you confirm.
What a report can include
| Line | |
|---|---|
| Bookings | Yours, or the whole company's |
| New leads | |
| Money from closed jobs | |
| Jobs not done yet | |
| Payments received | |
| Moves |
Up to four lines in one report, each for today, yesterday, this week or last week (moves can also be tomorrow or next week).
How often: every day, every weekday (Monday to Friday), or once a week on a day you choose — at the time you say, on your branch's clock. How: text, email or both — to your own phone and email on your profile.
See and stop your reports
Press the bell in Ed's panel (Notifications: your scheduled reports) to see Scheduled reports — when each goes, how, and what it reports. To stop one, ask Ed — stop my 5 PM bookings text — and press Stop on the card.
Good to know
- You can have up to 10 at a time.
- Each line is checked against your permissions every time it's sent. If you lose access to a number (for example the company's bookings), the report leaves that line out and says so.
- A report is sent once a day at most, even if MoveBoard checks twice.
- Your company's switches for staff emails and texts apply — if staff texts are off, reports don't go by text.
