Team & permissions
Switch off or remove a user
Stop someone signing in the moment they leave — their history stays, their sessions end at once, and you can switch them back on later.

When someone leaves, switch them off. They can no longer sign in, they disappear from the staff lists, and everything they did stays on record — orders, notes, payments, payroll and their logs.
People are never deleted, so their name keeps showing on the work they did.
Switch someone off
- Open Settings › Users & permissions › Users and click the person.
- On Details, turn off Active at the end of the top line.
- If you like, set their Termination Date.
- Press Save.
What happens
- Every session they have open ends at once — the office and the Mover's Portal. If they try again, sign-in is refused.
- They move from Active users to Inactive on the Users page, greyed with an inactive tag.
- They leave the pickers: salesperson, tasks, crews, assignment.
- A password link sent to them stops being sendable: This user is not active. Switch them on first.
Before or after: hand their work on
Their orders stay assigned to them. Hand them on so nothing is forgotten:
- Orders — on the orders list, pick the person's orders and use Assign Sales Person (see Assign a lead and Bulk actions).
- Lead assignment — take them out of your rules so new leads stop going to them (see Lead assignment rules).
- Tasks — give their open tasks to someone else.
Switch someone back on
- Pick Inactive above the list and click them.
- Turn Active on and press Save.
They sign in with their old username and password. Their permissions are as they were.
Take away less than everything
- Only the office, not the trucks — remove their office positions and keep Foreman, Driver or Helper; they keep the Mover's Portal.
- Only some things — switch off permissions instead — see How permissions work.
- Only one branch — take the branch out of their Branches — see Users in several branches.
Each of these also applies on their next click.
If something goes wrong
- You cannot deactivate yourself. — the Active switch on your own record is greyed.
- Only an administrator can change an administrator's access. — ask an administrator to switch off another administrator.
