On this page
The Users page is where you look after your team: everyone who works for the branch, office and crew, with their role, department, positions and when they last signed in.
Before you start
Open it from Settings › Users & permissions › Users. To see everyone and change anything you need the Manage employees within the company permission (administrators always have it). Anyone else who opens it — from My profile in the menu under their name — sees only their own record, under the title My profile.
What's on the page
At the top, four counts:
| Count | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active | Working here today. |
| Can sign in | Active, with a login. |
| Old password format | People whose password is kept in an older format; it changes by itself at their next sign-in. |
| Inactive | Switched off, kept for the history. |
Next to the title are shortcuts to the pages next door: Departments and group settings, Lead assignment, Notifications and Connections.
Find someone
- Pick Active users, Everyone or Inactive above the list. Each shows how many people it holds.
- Pick a department in the Departments list on the left to see only that department. Pick it again to see everyone.
- Type in the search box — A name, a department or a position. It also matches email addresses and the role.
The list shows 20 people a page, sorted by name. Use the arrows under it to move between pages.
The columns
- Name — with a you tag on your own row, an inactive tag for someone switched off, and crew member under anyone who works on the trucks (Foreman, Driver or Helper).
- Email, Department and Positions.
- Role — Admin (gold), Standard, or No login / Crew, no login for someone who can't sign in.
- Last sign-in — on your branch's clock, or never.
The gear over the first column lets you hide columns you don't need.
On a phone the list becomes cards, one per person, with the same details.
Open a person
Click a row (or press Enter on it). Their window grows out of the row with their details, access, pay and more — see A user's window.
Departments on the left
The Departments list shows each department with how many people are in it. With the permission to manage employees you can also:
- Add Department — type a Department name (at least 3 characters) and save.
- Rename one with the pencil.
- Delete one with the bin. The first department can't be deleted, and a department with people in it can't either: Cannot delete non-empty department. Please re-assign employees first!
- Group Settings — opens Departments, where each department's starting permissions are set.
Add someone
Press New user — see Add a user.
