Bulk actions on tenants

On the Storage page's Tenants tab, tick the tenants you want (or the box at the top for the whole page), then press Action for selected items. The button is off until something is ticked.

The actions

• Send Mass Text — write one text; template variables are filled in for each tenant. Press Send to (it says how many) to send.
• Send Mass Email — a Subject and the message, sent to each tenant the same way with Send to.
• Change Status — pick one of the Statuses and press Save.
• Add Flag — tick the flags to add. Each tenant keeps the flags it already had.
• Export — a CSV file of Selected storage(s) or All storage(s) in the current view. Export needs the Can Export reports permission; without it, it isn't in the list.

Each pop-up sends or saves only when you press its button (Save for status and flags). A tenant that can't be reached (no phone, no email) costs only itself: MoveBoard tells you how many went and why the others didn't.

Tenants from more than one branch

If the ticked tenants belong to different branches, Send Mass Text, Send Mass Email and Add Flag are switched off, and a note says "Certain actions can’t be completed. The selected storages are from multiple branches." Tick tenants of one branch at a time for those.

If something goes wrong

• "Please select one status from the list" — pick a status first.
• "Please choose company flags" — tick at least one flag.
• "Failed to change storage(s) status" / "Can't set flags on a storage tenant" / "Can't download a CSV file with data" — nothing changed; try again.
• Some could not be done — lists which tenants failed and why.
