Archiving an order with storage
An order linked to a tenant who is still in storage can't be archived — unlink it on the tenant first.

Archiving an order hides it from everyone in the office, and its money stops counting anywhere — including any storage money tied to it. So MoveBoard won't archive an order that a tenant still in storage depends on.
When it's refused
An order can't be archived while it is a storage tenant's Move In Order or Move Out Order and that tenant is still active (not Moved Out, Archived or deleted). MoveBoard says:
> This order is linked to storage tenant #1140 (still in storage). Unlink it in the storage tenant window before archiving.
This applies wherever you archive from: the order's status, a bulk status change on the orders list, or Ed.
What to do
- Open the tenant (the number in the message) from the Storage page.
- On Customer Details, unlink the order with the ✕ beside Move In Order or Move Out Order, and confirm. (Unlinking the move in also clears the move out.) Save if asked.
- Archive the order.
Or, if the tenant has really left, set them to Moved Out first.
Archiving an order never changes the tenant.
Other things checked first
After storage, MoveBoard also refuses to archive a completed job ("This job is completed. Reopen the job first to change its status.") and asks before archiving a job that has payroll. See Archiving a job with payroll.
