Your website's quote forms are MoveBoard's: a visitor asks for a quote and the lead lands in your orders list at once. Installing them is two pastes.
Before you start
You need to be able to add code to your website — or someone who can. Design the forms first in Settings › Website & forms › Quote forms (see Quote forms); what you save there goes live on your site at once, with no reinstall.
1. Add MoveBoard to your website
- Open Settings › Website & forms › Quote forms and pick the Install tab.
- Under 1. Add MoveBoard to your website, press Copy the MoveBoard line.
- Paste it at the end of the
<body>of every page — or once in your site's footer code, which most builders add to every page.
2. Put a form where you want it
Under 2. Put a form where you want it, each form — short, long, single page — has a tag. Paste the tag into the page where the form should appear. The form fills the tag's width.
Or don't place it at all: link a button (for example Get a quote) to one of the pop-up addresses listed there, and the form opens in a pop-up on the same page.
The floating menu and chat need only the line from step 1 — see Floating menu & chat.
3. Test it
- Under 3. Test my website, type the Page to test — the address of a page on your site.
- Press Test my website.
MoveBoard opens the page the way a visitor's browser gets it and says what it found: the line, the tags, and which website builder your site uses.
Website builders
Guides for website builders on the same tab gives the exact clicks for WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and Webflow.
What happens next
- A filled-in form becomes a New order with its source, and your office is notified — see Where leads come from.
- What the customer sees straight after — the price or a "we'll be in touch" card — is set on Quote display.
- Ad tracking and your own scripts go in Tracking.
If something goes wrong
- The test can't find the line — check it was pasted on that page, the site was published, and nothing (a caching plugin) is serving an older copy.
- The form doesn't show but the line is there — check the tag is on the page and spelled exactly as copied.
