With RingCentral connected, MoveBoard is your phone. Calls ring in the browser, you dial from the top bar, and each call — with its recording — lands on the customer's order.
Before you start
- Your company uses RingCentral, and RingCentral is switched on for your company in MoveBoard. Until it is, the page isn't in your Settings menu and the RingCentral buttons under Connections are greyed with Not turned on for your company yet. Ask the MoveBoard team.
- Only an administrator can connect the company line.
Two levels
| What | Where | |
|---|---|---|
| The company line | Your branch's RingCentral account. MoveBoard hears its calls and files them on orders. | Settings › Integrations › RingCentral |
| Each person | Their own extension, so calls ring for them and go out from them. | Their name › Connections |
A person who hasn't signed in to their own extension still works: their calls use the company line (Calls use the company line).
