Nobody wants a sales text at 11 PM. A workflow with quiet hours never acts between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM — a run that would land in the night waits and goes at 8 AM.

The hours show at the top of Settings › Communication › Workflows: Quiet hours: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM in your company's time zone.

Switch them on or off for a workflow

  1. Open the workflow and its Wait card.
  2. Tick or untick Never during the quiet hours in your company's time zone (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM).
  3. Press Save.

The sentence says (never at night) when they're on.

Which workflows keep them

WorkflowQuiet hours
A workflow you makeOn — untick to send at any hour
A built-in workflowOff — built-ins send the moment it happens, as your automatic messages always have. Tick them if you'd rather wait for the morning.
Any workflow with Send the deposit link (text) or Send the inventory link (email + text)Always kept when the workflow sends by itself, even with the box unticked
The office pressing Text link or Request inventory on an orderGoes at once — a person pressed the button

Whose clock

MoveBoard counts the hours on your branch's time zone — the clock where the move happens. A branch in Los Angeles waits for 8 AM in Los Angeles.

What you'll see

A run held by quiet hours shows waiting in the log with waiting for the end of the quiet hours and the time it will go. When it's due, MoveBoard checks Only if and Stop by itself again, so a customer who booked overnight doesn't get a morning reminder.
