Replace your website quote forms

Your website is where many leads start. When you move to MoveBoard, replace your current quote forms so new leads land straight in MoveBoard.

Before you start

• Set your website address as the branch's Domain URL (Settings › Company & branches › Company info) — customer links and the website test use it.
• Design your forms first: Settings › Website & forms › Quote forms has Short, Long and Single page forms and a Thank-you page. Saves go live on your website at once.
• Have access to your website's editor (or ask your web designer).

Install

1. 1In Settings › Website & forms › Quote forms, open the Install tab.
2. 2Add MoveBoard to your website — press Copy the MoveBoard line and paste it at the end of every page, or in your site builder's footer code.
3. 3Put a form where you want it — paste a form's tag where it should appear (it fills the width it's given), or link a button to a pop-up address so the form opens on the same page.

Test

1. 1Type your Page to test and press Test my website. You want MoveBoard's loader (forms.js) is on the page. and the form tags you placed. See The website form isn't sending leads for every answer it can give.
2. 2Open your site as a visitor and send a test quote with your own name.
3. 3Check it arrives on Orders as a New lead, with the right source.
4. 4Archive the test lead.

Remove the old forms

Once the test lead arrives, take your previous software's form code off the site — two forms side by side confuse visitors and split your leads. If your site already has an older MoveBoard integration.js line, leave it (it keeps working) or replace it with the new line — never keep both.

Your lead providers

Leads from providers such as moving lead marketplaces come in separately. Point each provider at MoveBoard on the day you switch — see Where leads come from and Settings › Sales & orders › Lead sources.
