Switching to MoveBoard
Your first week on MoveBoard
The daily checks for your first week after switching — leads arriving, texts and emails going out, crews on their phones, deposits and payments landing, and the end-of-day closing — so small gaps are caught early.

- For owners & admins, sales, dispatchers
Your first week on MoveBoard finds the small things — a template worded differently, a person without a permission, a rate that needed a tweak. Checking a few things each day catches them while they're small.
Every morning
- New leads arrived — website, lead providers and calls are on Orders as New. Nothing from the website? See The website form isn't sending leads.
- Today's jobs are on Dispatch with crews and trucks. Every crew member got their text and CONFIRMed on the Crew Schedule.
- The crews can sign in to the Mover's Portal on their phones.
- Notifications and tasks — the bell and your tasks show what's waiting.
During the day
- Texts go out — open one order you texted and check the text shows as sent. A problem? See A text didn't go out.
- Emails go out — open the conversation of an order you emailed. See An email didn't arrive.
- Quotes look right — compare a few new quotes with what you'd have charged. See The price looks wrong.
- Deposits land — a customer who booked online shows Booked with their deposit on Payments.
- Crews go En Route and the customers get the ETA text.
Every evening
- Bills of lading submitted for today's jobs, and payments on them.
- Closings — review the day's completed jobs; payroll follows from the closing.
- Imported orders — if you imported with messages off, switch messages on for upcoming customers you want reminders to reach.
- Anything still in your previous software — new leads that went there by mistake? Move them across and fix the source.
End of the week
- Check the Reports hub — this week's leads, bookings and income look like a normal week.
- Ask each person what was confusing, and look it up here or ask Ed.
- Tidy your templates and workflows now that you've seen them in action.
- Turn off your previous software's automatic messages for good, so customers don't hear from both.
