Ask Ed for a short message with your numbers, on a schedule — Text me every day at 5 PM how many jobs I booked today. He sends it by text, email or both, on your branch's clock.
Set one up
- Open Ed and ask in plain words: what numbers, how often, what time, and how. For example: Email me every weekday at 8:00 the new leads from yesterday and the moves today.
- Ed shows a card with the numbers, the schedule and where it goes. If he needs something — At what time? Give it as 24-hour HH:MM (5 PM = 17:00). — answer him.
- Press Confirm. The card reads Scheduled.
What a message can carry
Up to four numbers, from these:
| Number | Periods |
|---|---|
| Bookings — yours, or the whole company's | today, yesterday, this week, last week |
| New leads — with how many were booked and lost | today, yesterday, this week, last week |
| Money from closed jobs | today, yesterday, this week, last week |
| Payments received | today, yesterday, this week, last week |
| Jobs not done yet | today |
| Moves | today, tomorrow, next week |
How often: every day, every weekday (Monday to Friday), or once a week on a day you pick.
Permissions decide the numbers
Each number needs what it would need on screen: the whole company's bookings need Can see other user's orders; money needs the income permissions. Ed checks when you set it up and again every time it's sent — if you lose a permission, that line is left out and the message says so. If someone is switched off, their reports stop.
Where it goes
To your own email and mobile phone from your user profile. If your company has staff emails or staff texts switched off, those messages aren't sent.
See and stop your reports
- In Ed, press the bell — Notifications: your scheduled reports.
- Scheduled reports lists yours. Press the × on one to cancel it.
Or ask Ed: stop my daily bookings text — he shows a card with Stop.
Administrators can switch to Team's scheduled reports to see everyone's.
You can have up to 10 scheduled reports.
If something goes wrong
- One message can carry 4 numbers at most. Split it into two schedules.
- You already have 10 scheduled reports, which is the most one person can have. Stop one first (ask me, or open Notifications in this panel).
- Which numbers should the message have? For example: bookings today, money from closed jobs today, jobs not done yet.
- How often: every day, every weekday (Monday to Friday), or once a week on a day?
